Every year, we have children who, for example, dream of being Ryan Giggs and running down the wing for Manchester United, or dream of being a dancer.  All the children we meet have dreams and ambitions just like any other child. Each year, a group of volunteers from HCPT Manchester Region take children and young people, with a variety of health needs, backgrounds and faiths, for a holiday of a lifetime to a town of Lourdes, in the south of France.

All this fun, laughter and caring depends on one major factor - money. HCPT Manchester Region aims to take between 30 and 40 children to Lourdes every Easter. The helpers who go are all volunteers and all pay for themselves, leaving a target of roughly £50,000, every penny of which helps towards a local young person having a pilgrimage holiday of a lifetime.

Every year, one of the hardest parts of organising this wonderful annual pilgrimage holiday is covering the children's cost. We are always looking for sponsorship of any description that would assist us in raising this sum. From cash donations to raffle prizes, every little helps.
